Their aerial platform can paint more quickly than a human can, especially when the time and cost of moving scaffolding and safety equipment are included. Scaffolding can cost up to 75% of the total job. The Apellix robotic platform also paints, more precisely, a second cost factor. A 1% increase in efficiency can save the owner of a bridge or ship hundreds of thousands of dollars.
