PLM-100

Our PLM-100 formulation is a two-component polyurea technology that’s designed specifically as a pipe lining material, part of our low-pressure series of ArmorLine spray-on coatings. It’s primarily used to protect pipes against corrosion caused by transported fluids or moisture present in the surrounding environment.

By enveloping pipe materials inside or out with layers of inert elastomer, PLM-100 insulates pipe materials from coming into direct contact with corrosive substances, preventing corrosion without risk of self-contamination, as PLM-100 is free of solvents and volatile organic chemicals (VOCs) and doesn’t peel or flake. The protective barrier built from PLM-100 also serves as a means of reinforcement and all-purpose protection against mechanical stress, extending pipes’ operational lifetime and keeping performance quality high. PLM-100 is easily pigmented before use, creating one or more different colored coatings that are commonly used to convey vital information, such as indicating that it’s time to reapply additional layers. Paired with PLM-100’s excellent thermal stability, low-temperature flexibility, and the many strengths characteristic of any high-performance polyurea coating, it’s ArmorThane’s ultimate pipe-protecting technology.
