STS Topcoat™
Our STS Topcoat allows applicators to apply almost any color to a newly applied ArmorThane coating, or to refinish previously applied topcoats now in need of repair or reinforcement. It’s available in six basic colors, each with lasting color retention and UV fade resistance. But unlike many topcoat products that serve an exclusively aesthetic purpose, ArmorThane’s STS Topcoat is heavy-duty, engineered for both style and performance in demanding applications like protecting industrial equipment and OEM parts or installing durable exterior finishes.

Heavy duty doesn’t only describe our topcoat’s mechanical strength but also its chemical resistance, as it’s capable of withstanding the corrosive effects of water and industrial chemicals alike. Moreover, its strength doesn’t come at the cost of safety or environmental stewardship – our STS Topcoat is a low VOC formula that complies with the rigid regulatory standards of today and can be applied using a brush, resin core roller, or high volume low pressure (HVLP) spray gun. With any application method, it builds to a desired thickness atop a polymer base coatings, and recoats well at any time, used for everything from irrigation channels to water parks and stadiums.
