What began with spray-on truck bed liners in the United States now protects bridge decks, water treatment plants, marine structures, military assets and agricultural equipment on every inhabited continent.

Next-generation formulations

Founded by Garry Froese

ArmorThane is established with a plan to change protective coatings for good, starting with spray-on truck bed liners in the United States.

1995

The polyurea line launches

We move beyond polyurethane into polyurea — faster cure times and far better chemical resistance, opening the door to heavy industrial work.

2002

International expansion begins

Dealer operations open in Canada, and equipment and product
start shipping to markets across Europe, Asia and Latin America.

2010

Equipment manufacturing in-house

We begin designing and fabricating our own commercial application equipment, including custom-built Mobile Coatings Units.

Fixed Location Shop Systems

For applicators with a permanent shop location, ArmorThane provides complete spray booth setups with optimized ventilation, product heating, and plural component dispensing equipment. Fixed locations qualify for exclusive protected territories at no additional cost.
